Description Provinazol (Proviron) 50 mg Sopharma
Proviron (active ingredient "Mesterolone") is an androgenic drug derived from dihydrotestosterone. Although dihydrotestosterone has a very high androgenic activity, mesterolone does not have this characteristic and is therefore not often used in hormone replacement therapy. However, this drug is used in weight training. For example, Mesterolone can moderately suppress the aromatase enzyme, thereby compensating for the side effects of steroids associated with the conversion of testosterone to oestrogen. However, it should be borne in mind that this effect is not very pronounced and the use of anti-oestrogens may still be unavoidable.
It is also known that the use of meesterolone can reduce the suppression of endogenous hormones during their course and help to increase their levels once they have finished. We must not forget, however, that these theories have not yet received mass confirmation, and indeed there are serious doubts. Therefore, when choosing between meesterolone and anti-estrogens, the latter should be preferred. The fact that Proviron is capable of suppressing SHBG (globulin-binding sex hormone) justifies its use during the course of the disease, as it can increase the concentration of steroids in the body's tissues and thus significantly enhance their action. It also performs this task better than stanazolol, which is often used for the same purpose. It is also worth considering that, unlike tamoxifen, this drug does not promote the restoration of androgen testosterone.
The use of Proviron in sport and medical practice Given that many of the claimed capabilities of this medicinal product have not been confirmed, its use is genuinely justified in a number of medicinal products which tend to reduce libido (nandrolone and trenbolone and their derivatives). It is possible that Proviron may attract the attention of athletes who are afraid to use really strong anabolic drugs because of the risk of side effects and inhibition of the reproductive system. In this case, the drug helps the athlete to feel the "taste" of anabolic steroids and to obtain some pleasant bonuses, such as Increased muscle stiffness, moderate fat burning, increased libido and improved recovery abilities. For these purposes, dosages range from 50 to 100 milligrams per day. Abroad, Proviron is used to increase sperm activity and overall sperm quality and is sometimes prescribed for erectile dysfunction caused by ageing or psychological factors.
A recent study showed that of 100% of men who received Proviron therapy, 46% were able to eliminate infertility caused by oligosperm. However, its use is only justified in patients whose sperm count reaches at least 5 million per millilitre (in which case either no effect is observed or it is so weak that it does not affect the positive dynamics of the treatment). It was also found that after one year of use of the medicinal product, levels of testosterone, luteinising hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone had no adverse effects, except in the groups of patients in whom the levels of these hormones were already overestimated before the experiment. During the course of the experiment, the doses reached 150 milligrams, with the standard therapeutic dose being 25 to 50 milligrams. Proviron can sometimes be used as an alternative to hormone replacement therapy in older patients to improve libido, prevent muscle wasting and reduced bone density, and improve overall body tone.
Proviron can also have a positive effect on the patient's mood and reduce the manifestations of depression and anxiety. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, the drug was successfully used in controlled trials in people suffering from various forms of depression. One study compared the effects of two substances, amitriptyline and mesterolone. The data show that both drugs helped to reduce the symptoms of depression in people. However, there were far fewer adverse effects of mesterolone than amitriptyline. Testosterone, which is used in hormone replacement therapy in the form of testosterone enanthate, undecanoate or sustanon, is much better suited to the task of improving mood and reducing anxiety. In addition, the effect of testosterone on the prostate and hair follicles is much less than that of potentially dangerous dihydrotestosterone derivatives. In addition, Pro
